Holly Fulton at The V&A

On Friday 20th, The Victoria & Albert Museum hosts the ‘Fashion in Motion’ event as featured designer Holly Fulton presents four retrospective catwalk shows.

Announced as the feature designer for this upcoming event, Holly Fulton marks the 10-year anniversary of her eponymous line for the event and made a statement saying, “As an institution, the V&A holds special resonance from my days studying at the RCA; it was a bastion of culture that I held very dear when I arrived in London and it offered me inspiration, stimulation and generous scones when the creative juices were not flowing. It is a great privilege to have a piece in the V&A archive and to stage a show in these hallowed halls."

Since founding her namesake label, Fulton has built a strong reputation for signature witty aesthetic and has been awarded numerous accolades including a British Fashion Award and ELLE New Designer. By landing the featured designer role, the London Fashion Week regular follows in the footstep of several prestigious designers including Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jenny Packham, Missoni and Vivienne Westwood.
